To understand a place you must live among its people
There are things about Louisiana that no one outside Louisiana understands. To get a taste of what that means, spend time with a local and the flavor will hit you.
We've been working in the tourism and boating indutries for along time and feel like we can improve the impression that a lot of people leave the city with

Meet The Team
Jason Pippenger is a 5th Generation New Orleans native who grew up immersed in the culture and traditions of South Louisiana—hunting and fishing, king cake, Mardi Gras, crawfish, and crabbing. He came up through the Catholic school system, graduating from De La Salle High School, and later earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans. Jason served eight years in the United States Navy before beginning a decade-long career at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Starting as a bartender, he worked his way up to Executive Steward and later Event and Catering Manager, gaining extensive experience in hospitality, operations, and guest experience. After leaving Hilton, Jason transitioned into finance, specializing in mortgage lending—a field he continues to work in today. Over the past three and a half years, he earned his U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License and has been operating and developing tours, focused on building a tour company that delivers truly unique, high-quality experiences for visitors to New Orleans looking for something beyond the typical tourist offerings.
Kelly holds a 25-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License and is actively working toward an upgrade to a 100-ton license. Her experience on passenger vessels includes daily operations, vessel and dock maintenance, and maintaining a high standard of safety while delivering informed, grounded experiences on the water. Calm, capable, and deliberate—she operates with an understanding that the environment sets the rules, not the itinerary. Beyond traditional vessel-based experiences, Kelly has extensive time guiding small groups through Louisiana’s marshes and bayous, including fishing from kayaks. These experiences are shaped by awareness rather than spectacle—reading tides, weather, and wildlife, and moving through the landscape with intention and respect. It’s not about chasing highlights, but understanding the system as a whole. Before stepping fully into maritime and tourism work, Kelly spent years in operations management, auditing, and business ownership. That background shows in the details: clean logistics, clear communication, and experiences that run tight without feeling rigid. Her foundation in animal science and outdoor education adds depth to how she interprets wildlife and natural environments—practical, informed, and unscripted. Trained at The Captain’s School in New Orleans, with additional education in business and animal sciences, Kelly brings a steady professionalism to experiences designed for those who want the real Louisiana—unfiltered, uncrowded, and handled properly.
